We understand you may have questions about how we manage your investments. At Palm Wealth Partners, our investment approach is built on transparency, discipline, and personalization. Below are answers to the most common questions clients ask about our investment philosophy, designed to help you feel comfortable with how we approach managing your financial future.

Who Is Managing My Money?

We believe that you should know who is managing your money. At Palm Wealth Partners, we build and customize portfolios to your risk tolerance. We do not outsource portfolio management! You will have access to meet our investment/portfolio managers at any time.

How Do You Build Your Portfolios?

Our portfolios are built for predictability with a primary focus of maximizing risk/reward. We utilize a combination of funds and positions that have proven to be leaders in their class through various market conditions. Each holding has been hand selected by our firm based on extensive research and analysis to play a role in building a well-diversified portfolio.

We typically utilize Exchange Traded Funds as a cost-effective way to own broad areas of the market. We will also use active mutual funds, individual stocks and bonds, when needed or where we feel they provide standout value.

Do You Time The Market?

We believe in investing our clients’ assets based on their specific risk tolerance and financial goals. Having a diverse investment allocation helps reduce volatility, thus providing our clients with a “smoother ride” compared to over-concentrating in limited sectors or single stocks.

We do not believe in timing the market, but rather having a disciplined approach with a long-term market view.

How Often Do You Review Portfolios?

Portfolios are tracked daily and reviewed quarterly by high level institutional portfolio analysts. Firms we have quarterly contact with include Fidelity, JP Morgan, Blackrock, and Goldman Sachs.

Our goal with these calls is to gain insight into their views on the market and economic conditions heading into the upcoming quarter. They may offer fund recommendations and/or allocation weighting updates to be best positioned in the current investment environment. We then review these recommendations as a team and decide which ones place our clients in the best position to succeed.

Our Investment Principles

  • Disciplined Process: We follow a structured, repeatable approach rather than making emotional decisions
  • Evidence-Based Investing: Our strategies are informed by academic research and market history
  • Appropriate Diversification: We seek to reduce risk through thoughtful asset allocation
  • Cost-Efficiency: We are mindful of expenses that can reduce long-term returns
